Daniel 'Chipp' Bailey

Daniel Bailey lives in Matthews, North Carolina, where he is Chief Deputy Sheriff for the largest sheriff’s office in the two Carolinas.   He is a member of Mystery Writers of America, The American Crime Writer’s League and Sisters in Crime.  His writing, set in South Carolina’s coastal lowcountry and inspired by more than thirty years in law enforcement, provides the ingredients for mystery and suspense—Southern style.  His first two novels, Justice Betrayed (Silver Dagger Mysteries – 2000) and Execute The Office (Silver Dagger Mysteries – 2002) are available through most bookstores.
