
Ellen Elizabeth Hunter
Ellen Elizabeth Hunter is the author of five traditional mysteries that are set in Wilmington, NC: Murder on the Candlelight Tour, Murder at the Azalea Festival, Murder on the Ghost Walk, Murder at Wrightsville Beach, Murder on the ICW. In 2007 she will publish the sixth and seventh books in her series: Murder on the Cape Fear and Christmas Wedding.
Ellen has combined a degree in English Literature from New York University with a background in old house restoration to create amateur sleuths Ashley Wilkes, historic preservationist, and Melanie Wilkes, Wilmington’s star realtor.

As the featured speaker at The Bellamy Mansion, she raised money for Easter Seals UCP. Proceeds from a church-sponsored book event aided the US-Uganda Orphans Education Fund. In January Ellen will be a featured speaker at the North Carolina Association of Realtors annual meeting at the Pinehurst Resort with proceeds from sales benefiting Homes4NC.
